About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site under direct supervision to gain experience with routine construction services tasks. This role is open on a rolling basis for students pursuing a degree in civil engineering or construction management.
What you'll do#
- Assist construction managers with the administration of construction contracts.
- Research construction plans and specifications.
- Respond to requests for information from contractors.
- Review material submittals from contractors.
- Collect field data to help with design or problem solving.
- Provide general support to staff members as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program for civil engineering or construction management at an accredited university.
- You need to have completed at least one year of study in your program.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
