About the role#
We are looking for a student intern to join the Fleet Team at our headquarters in Columbia, Missouri. This role supports the full lifecycle of the sales process, from initial inbound requests through to invoicing. You will work with internal teams to ensure equipment sales and projects stay on track while managing customer relationships and identifying ways to improve online sales conversion.
What you'll do#
- Manage a high volume of inbound email requests and provide timely answers to complex questions.
- Collaborate with sales and internal teams to anticipate their needs and support equipment sales.
- Maintain high levels of customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive operational and process improvements.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource throughout the sales process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- High attention to detail with strong math and financial acumen.
- A basic understanding of economic concepts like demand, supply, and profitability.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and developing presentations for management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak on behalf of leadership.
- A flexible approach to changing project scopes and priorities.
