About the role#
EquipmentShare is seeking an engineering intern to join our Embedded Systems team in Columbia, Missouri. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at our headquarters to support our hardware and firmware development efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of embedded hardware and firmware.
- Create automated tests to verify that firmware meets project requirements.
- Develop automated software and tools to support various internal groups.
What you'll need#
- You are actively working towards a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and use mechanical hand or power tools to install nuts and bolts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated approach to new challenges.
- Reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Creo is preferred.
