About the role#
EquipmentShare is looking for an engineering student to join our team in Columbia, Missouri, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work directly with our engineering group to support the development of embedded systems and internal tools.
What you'll do#
- Help develop embedded hardware and firmware.
- Write automated tests to confirm firmware meets performance requirements.
- Build automated software and tools to support various departments across the company.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and use mechanical hand or power tools for assembly tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is required, while experience with Creo is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
- Reliable transportation.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in Columbia, MO.
