About the role#
Entrust is looking for a Software Engineer Co-op to join our Engineering Group. This is a 6 to 12 month opportunity based at our corporate headquarters. You will gain hands-on experience by working on challenging assignments that contribute to our business goals.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy software.
- Assist in reviewing product requirements and estimating work.
- Work with our test group to validate functionality.
- Respond to reported field problems, attempt to reproduce them, and identify workarounds or fixes.
- Review and unit test code written by other team members.
- Review technical documents for released functionality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience with Java, C++, or C# development.
- Experience with Windows updates, security systems, and diagnostics.
- Ability to lawfully work within the US with unrestricted authorization.
- Preferred experience includes Python.NET, Windows development, and GUI programming using Java Swing.
- Familiarity with agile processes, subversion, multi-threaded development, and mechanical or machine vision systems is a plus.

- This position is located on-site in Shakopee, Minnesota.
- This is a full-time role with a rolling term.
