About the role#
Entegris is hiring an NPI Engineering Co-Op for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment beginning in January 2027. You will support new product development and manufacturing readiness by working closely with engineers on documentation, data analysis, and project tracking. This role offers hands-on experience in product development, quality processes, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Create, maintain, and release manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flows, and qualification reports.
- Track molded components through tooling, sampling, dimensional measurement, and qualification.
- Collect and analyze engineering and manufacturing data to support process characterization and decision making.
- Support PFMEA improvement initiatives by identifying ways to improve detection methods and reduce failure modes.
- Coordinate and support customer sample builds, including material tracking and post-build data collection.
- Work with operators and assemblers to identify gaps in information, equipment, or training.
- Follow up on project action items, risks, and deliverables to ensure schedule adherence.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities and audit preparation.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
- Prior exposure to engineering, manufacturing, or project management through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate technical data effectively and work within a cross-functional team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Rockrimmon).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position.
