About the role#
Empower offers a 10-week summer internship for students interested in financial services. This program provides hands-on experience within our sales organization. Interns work with managers and mentors to complete a defined project while contributing to team initiatives. You will gain exposure to sales cycles and our 401(k) investment products. The program concludes with a presentation of your work to business leaders.
What you'll do#
- Support the Core Sales and Support team on business initiatives.
- Build prospecting lists and add advisors in Salesforce.
- Analyze sales data to improve pipelines and streamline internal processes.
- Use data and AI tools to identify ways to enhance current workflows.
- Develop consultative sales skills through collaboration with sales professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- At least 2 years of academic progress toward a bachelor’s degree.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Expected graduation and availability for full-time work by mid-2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrated interest in financial sales and wholesaling.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

- Location: Greenwood Village, CO.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Duration: 10 weeks, from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on academic level.
