About the role#
This internship provides an immersive 10-week experience within the financial services industry. You will work alongside experienced actuaries on high-impact initiatives, gaining exposure to key actuarial functions. The program includes hands-on work with business projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. You will present your final work to business leaders at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Support actuarial modeling, financial reporting, and strategic analysis.
- Contribute to actuarial model enhancements and internal reporting tools.
- Assist actuarial teams with data validation, assumption setting, and trend analysis.
- Help with tasks related to valuation, forecasting, or regulatory deliverables.
- Complete both an individual and a group project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program with at least 2 years of academic progress.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Expected graduation date by mid-2028.
- Preferred qualifications include passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams, knowledge of SQL or programming languages like Python or VBA, and familiarity with finance or actuarial fields.
- Preferred majors include Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant fields.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
- You must be available for the full 10-week program from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- You must reside near or be able to reliably commute to the office.
