    About the role#

    The Standard Products (Sales) Support Co-op works with the Manager of Production Innovation and Standards. You will help develop standard products, procedures, and efficiency tools while collaborating with Sales and Applications staff. This role focuses on modular design concepts and engineering data analysis to support company projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop modular design concepts for various industries.
    • Research industry and competitive trends to inform new product offerings.
    • Evaluate technologies and supplier products for integration into standard solutions.
    • Create technical content for the central knowledge base and customer proposals.
    • Manage CAD data in product lifecycle management systems.
    • Produce working drawings, detail drawings, and bills of materials using SolidWorks.
    • Analyze engineering data to identify opportunities for design reuse.
    • Ensure all designs and procedures are documented correctly.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary engineering degree or diploma, specializing in mechanical and automation design.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office.
    • Understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
    • Ability to work independently without supervision.
