    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience within the Manufacturing Engineering department at our global headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside engineering professionals to support the production of rotating equipment like steam turbines, compressors, and cryogenic pumps. This is a full-time, on-site position for the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct shop-floor time studies and observe workflows to establish operational baselines.
    • Apply 5S lean principles to organize workstations, reduce waste, and improve safety.
    • Identify operational bottlenecks and process variations to suggest efficiency improvements.
    • Standardize workflows and update baseline documentation.
    • Complete individual projects and participate in team-based activities.
    • Shadow company leadership during meetings to gain insight into daily operations.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
    • Completion of at least your sophomore year.
    • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    • Location: Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Duration: 12 weeks.
