About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program running from June to August 2026. You will learn the three core phases of our local operations: recruiting, account management, and field support. The program focuses heavily on sales and requires strong business acumen as you interact with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for our Sales Development Representative position.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions on the internet using our candidate tracking system to expand the candidate pool.
- Review resumes and select qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during phone calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain documentation within our applicant tracking system.
- Attend contractor lunches and networking events.
- Shadow account managers during cold calls, client visits, and the client acquisition process.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Observe field support during background checks, drug testing, and unemployment claims processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university seeking a BA or BS degree.
- A preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- A focus on sales through a degree, minor, or certificate is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales.
