The Sales Internship program is a 10-week paid opportunity running from June to August 2026. Interns gain exposure to the three core phases of local business operations: recruiting, account management, and field support, with a primary focus on sales. This role requires strong business acumen as you will interact with internal staff, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for the Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions via the candidate tracking system to expand the candidate pool.
- Evaluate resumes to identify and select qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Schedule candidate interviews with recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Participate in account management activities, including shadowing cold calls, client visits, and requisition qualifications.
- Attend networking events and contractor lunches.
- Assist with lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Observe field support processes, including background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment claim procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a university program seeking a BA/BS degree, with a preference for sales-related degrees, minors, or certificates.
- Ideally transitioning between Junior and Senior academic years.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales.
