The Sales Internship program is a 10-week paid opportunity designed to provide exposure to the three core phases of local business operations: recruiting, account management, and field support. This role emphasizes sales development and requires strong business acumen, as interns interact directly with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of this program may lead to a full-time offer in the Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions on the candidate tracking system to expand the candidate pool.
- Evaluate incoming resumes to identify and select qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during phone calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain documentation within the applicant tracking system.
- Attend contractor lunches with recruiters.
- Shadow account managers during cold calls, client visits, requisition qualifications, and the client acquisition process.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Attend networking events.
- Shadow field support during background investigations, drug testing processes, and unemployment claims or hearings.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a BA/BS degree, with a preference for those in sales-related programs, minors, or certificate paths.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales.
