About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on full-stack projects that impact our learners and internal teams. You will join a team focused on making education available to everyone. You can expect support from a mentor while working on features that reach our global user base.
What you'll do#
- Build, test, and maintain features, services, and infrastructure.
- Manage your own project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure your work is scalable and high quality.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Experience programming in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift.
- Ability to commit to 12 consecutive weeks of work.
- A commitment to our mission of providing universally available education.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations: New York, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; or Seattle, WA.
- Hourly pay is $54 to $56 USD.
