About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Nicholasville, Kentucky. You will join our custom design department to gain hands-on experience in industrial machinery manufacturing. You will work alongside our staff while also taking ownership of independent projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customer orders for new equipment.
- Support the custom design team with modeling and drafting tasks.
- Engage in the full production cycle, from raw material to finished goods.
- Contribute to manufacturing and operational improvements, preventative maintenance, and machine repair.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with drafting or blueprint reading.
- An understanding of the design of experiment process.
- Strong communication skills and active listening abilities.
- A self-starter attitude with the initiative to ask questions and share ideas.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
