About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a corporate environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals within the Accounting organization to develop your skills in data analytics and problem solving.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various Accounting groups and perform assigned work.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities.
- Build or improve spreadsheets to support business needs.
- Prepare and analyze monthly budget variance reports for management.
- Implement, evaluate, and monitor control systems.
- Gather and analyze financial data on an ad hoc basis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at a 4-year university.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Graduation date of Fall 2027 or later.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong MS Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- Location: Richmond, Virginia.
- Work modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days of teleworking).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $34.00 per hour.
