About the role#
As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will join our integrated design team to contribute to structural systems for new construction and renovation projects. You will work alongside licensed engineers and professionals across architecture, engineering, and interiors. This internship provides hands-on experience through the design process, from early concepts to construction administration. You will participate in our Emerging Professional Experience program, which includes mentorship, project work, and weekly learning sessions.
What you'll do#
- Design structural systems for new construction and building renovations with a licensed engineer.
- Attend design team meetings and observe coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Assist with the design and development of construction documents using Revit.
- Coordinate structural design requirements with architecture and other disciplines.
- Visit an active construction site.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year at an ABET-accredited Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering program.
- Experience or interest in BIM workflows, such as Autodesk Revit.
- Preference for third-year students in an accredited engineering program.
- Preference for candidates who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
- Interest in architectural building design.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18 through August 6).
- Status: Paid, full-time.
