About the role#
The BIM Intern role is a learning opportunity for students to gain exposure to BIM production processes. You will support MEP engineers, BIM managers, and technicians by coordinating across various project groups. This position involves working on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects of varying scales. You will operate under immediate supervision, following established guidelines and company procedures to complete your tasks.
What you'll do#
- Model and annotate Revit MEP drawings under the supervision of an engineer and BIM manager.
- Publish, package, and consume models using BIM 360 and ACC.
- Collect data and information for construction documents.
- Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Export CAD, NWC, and PDF files from models.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, BIM, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in using Revit MEP.
- Experience with the administration of BIM 360 or ACC projects.
- An awareness of modeling and annotating duct systems, electrical, plumbing, and piping layouts.
- A willingness to learn how to interpret engineering contract documents.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is remote and operates on a rolling basis.
