About the role#
The Financial Planning and Analysis intern supports our team with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. You will help prepare financial reports, maintain datasets, and support strategic planning activities. This is a full-time position based at our corporate headquarters.
What you'll do#
- Manage special projects to assist with current FP&A processes.
- Help the team prepare for annual planning and budgeting cycles.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing actuals against forecasted projections.
- Provide key insights based on your financial analysis.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- An interest in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
- This role is on-site at our corporate headquarters.
- Local housing is provided for interns.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Pay ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour for undergraduates, $26.00 for Masters students, and $29.00 for PhD students.
