About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based at our headquarters in Irvine, California. You will join the Advanced Sterilization Products team to gain foundational business knowledge through hands-on experience. The program provides exposure to experienced business leaders, mentors, and subject matter experts while you work on significant projects.
What you'll do#
- Lead a 10-week project designed to make a direct impact on the business.
- Build your technical and interpersonal skills through daily responsibilities.
- Learn how the Fortive Business System shapes strategy, focuses execution, aligns teams, and creates value for customers.
- Explore various aspects of our global business operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Preference for majors in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred.
- Excellent data and analytical skills, including experience using data to investigate problems and find solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Incorta, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Understanding of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Curiosity regarding how business activities connect to financial performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- This internship is located on-site in Irvine, California.
- The program takes place during the Summer of 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
