About the role#
The Supplier Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting the Supplier Marketing team through various projects, operational tasks, and strategic initiatives. You will work alongside marketing professionals to contribute to supplier growth programs, customer engagement efforts, and business analysis. Throughout the internship, you will complete a capstone project focused on a meaningful business challenge or process improvement initiative. This role is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily Supplier Marketing tasks and departmental projects.
- Support managers and specialists with ongoing marketing initiatives and supplier-related activities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas during planning sessions.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners.
- Conduct research, gather insights, and analyze data to support business objectives.
- Translate data, supplier performance insights, and project findings into clear business recommendations.
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and the maintenance of project records.
- Support process improvement initiatives to help with efficiency and scalability.
- Gain exposure to campaign execution, business operations, and supplier relationship management.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Management.
- Strong interest in gaining hands-on business and marketing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information, and communicate findings.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

- Location: Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site or Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Undergraduate students earn between $21.00 and $23.00 per hour. Master's degree students earn $26.00 per hour, and PhD students earn $29.00 per hour.
- Housing: Local campus housing is provided for interns in Thief River Falls.
- Sponsorship: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future.
