About the role#
This is a 6-month, full-time internship for a Quebec Bar student. You will work with immigration lawyers and consultants to manage applications for employees and candidates. You will gain experience in provincial and federal Canadian immigration law while supporting legal monitoring and stakeholder communication.
What you'll do#
- Manage the full immigration process under the supervision of a lawyer.
- Gather documents and information by working directly with managers and employees.
- Prepare and submit official forms to government authorities for work permit issuance and renewals.
- Monitor the status of work permits and ensure file compliance.
- Help managers and employees navigate immigration challenges throughout the hiring process and employment.
- Compile information and documentation to assist with government audits.
- Conduct legal research to address immigration law inquiries.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Successful completion of Modules 1 and 2 of the École du Barreau du Québec.
- The internship must qualify as an official Quebec Bar articling internship for admission to the Quebec Bar Roll.

- This position is based on-site in Montréal or Lévis, Quebec.
- This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date.
