About the role#
This internship focuses on the intersection of data analytics, technology, and risk management. You will work within the Audit & Assurance practice to help clients solve complex business challenges. The role involves developing data analysis plans, creating innovative strategies, and designing solutions that improve how organizations report and operate. You will gain hands-on experience by working across various audit and assurance offerings, including internal audit, controls, and specialized reporting.
What you'll do#
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and streamline data pipelines to improve consistency.
- Create automation toolkits and standardize templates to increase efficiency.
- Design, build, and test quantitative and AI or machine learning models.
- Define and calculate key risk indicator metrics to monitor business health.
- Perform data-driven tests and reconciliations to evaluate regulatory compliance.
- Develop agentic AI-based digital applications to support assurance work.
- Visualize results for stakeholders using Tableau and PowerBI.
- Assess client data infrastructure and provide strategic advice on scaling digital technologies.
- Advise teams on automating control testing and monitor processes to drive efficiency.
- Evaluate client use of analytical models, including model governance and compliance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Mathematics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with effective communication skills.
