About the role#
As a Data and Analytics intern, you will use a suite of tools to develop and execute analytics solutions that support audit engagement objectives. You will work across various Audit and Assurance offerings, including specialized assurance, internal audit, and controls. This role involves turning client data into insights, identifying patterns, and revealing anomalies to help inform decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Build and execute data analytics using tools like Databricks, Python, PySpark, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Visual Basic.
- Query and analyze small to large data sets to discover relationships and identify anomalies.
- Develop data visualization dashboards to communicate trends effectively.
- Transform and load data into various analytic tools.
- Support the development of standardized, industry-focused dashboards.
- Collaborate with audit teams across multiple industries and utilize both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Prepare audit documentation and present complex information in an understandable way.
- Build and manage relationships with audit team members and client personnel.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with analytical and visualization software or languages such as Databricks, Python, PySpark, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Visual Basic.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above, relevant work experience, demonstrated leadership, and meeting educational requirements for CPA licensure.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.

- Work modality: Hybrid.
- You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
