About the role#
As an actuarial intern, you will join our Actuarial and Insurance Solutions group. You will work within a multidisciplinary team serving clients in life insurance, property and casualty insurance, and pension plans. This role offers exposure to a global network of over 1,500 actuarial professionals across 43 countries. You will develop technical expertise while contributing to projects that address complex client concerns.
What you'll do#
- Develop innovative solutions to evolve the actuarial field.
- Support audit functions, technical actuarial work, and enterprise risk management.
- Assist with actuarial process re-engineering and regulatory consulting.
- Mitigate risks related to pension plans and conduct predictive analytics.
- Perform due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
- Use modern technologies to deliver high-quality client results.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in actuarial science, mathematics, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong research, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to summarize quantitative data and communicate findings effectively.
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of autonomy and initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
