About the role#
As an Analyst with Deloitte Ventures, you will support the team in sourcing, analyzing, and executing venture-backed investments. You will also work directly with portfolio companies to drive engagement with the firm. This role offers exposure to the full venture investment lifecycle, from initial startup evaluation to supporting long-term portfolio growth.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging trends.
- Build financial and strategic analyses to support investment decisions.
- Participate in meetings with startup founders.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the team.
- Collaborate across the innovation ecosystem to find new technologies and founders that align with firm priorities.
What you'll need#
- A general understanding of venture capital, including how technology companies operate.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial modelling.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentation building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset that is curious, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work as an inclusive team player who brings humility and professionalism to the office.
