About the role#
David Zwirner is seeking a Marketing Intern to support campaign execution, reporting, and cross-departmental initiatives. This position offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of gallery marketing campaigns, from initial planning to final analysis. You will work closely with the Marketing Assistant and Senior Marketing Manager to gain insight into how marketing supports artist visibility, gallery programming, and sales engagement.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Design, Events, Content, Press, and global Marketing teams to support campaigns across multiple channels.
- Provide event support, including RSVP tracking, invitation management, and on-site assistance for clients and VIP guests.
- Organize and maintain marketing materials archives, ensuring assets and collateral are documented and accessible.
- Compile campaign performance data and assist in building reporting decks for brand marketing, event traffic, and gifting programs.
- Maintain accurate database entries and support client reporting tasks.
- Draft design tickets for marketing materials, such as signage, and manage the shipment of materials to global gallery locations.
- Lead one independent research project focused on topics such as market research, competitive analysis, or gallery traffic patterns.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in the contemporary art world.
- Comfort working with data in Google Sheets.
- Experience creating recap decks or summarizing complex information into clear slides.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Confidence in interacting professionally at public events and in client-facing environments.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of studies in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Art, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in New York, NY.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 21st to December 18th, 2026).
- Schedule: 10AM to 6PM, 3-5 days per week (5-day availability preferred).
- Compensation: Paid at the NYC minimum wage of $17 per hour.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. Please note that no lodging or commuting expenses are provided.
