About the role#
We are looking for an Organic Marketing Intern to help build our community presence in Sandy Springs. This is a hands-on role where you will support local outreach and brand growth. You will work directly on marketing initiatives that impact our facility performance.
What you'll do#
- Plan and run local events, school partnerships, and grassroots marketing projects.
- Represent D1 Training at community activations.
- Build relationships with local teams, schools, and organizations.
- Support in-gym promotions to help drive new memberships.
- Share member success stories and showcase our facility culture.
- Track and report on basic marketing metrics like leads and event participation.
What you'll need#
- You are currently enrolled as a college student in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- You have a strong interest in sports, fitness, and brand marketing.
- You are comfortable talking to people in a busy environment.
- You know your way around social media platforms.
- You are self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Content creation experience is a plus.

- Location: Sandy Springs, GA.
- This is an on-site, part-time, paid internship.
- The schedule is flexible to fit your classes.
- We offer rolling start dates.
- School credit is available if your university allows it.
About D1 TRAINING
D1 Training operates a fitness network focused on athletic-based training for all age groups. The company uses five core tenets including strength, conditioning, and performance series to guide its fitness programs. It maintains over 170 open facilities and is based in Franklin, Tennessee. The organization employs between 11 and 50 people.
