About the role#
We are looking for a Sports Marketing Intern to join our team in Margate. You will help build our community presence and manage our digital footprint. This is a hands-on role where you will execute marketing initiatives that directly impact our facility. This internship is designed to give you practical experience in community outreach, brand growth, and event planning.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute local events, school partnerships, and grassroots marketing initiatives.
- Represent our facility at community events and activations.
- Build relationships with local schools, teams, and organizations.
- Capture and create photo and video content for social media platforms.
- Plan and schedule content that aligns with our brand strategy.
- Contribute ideas to increase follower growth and engagement.
- Support in-gym promotions and campaigns.
- Highlight member success stories and our facility culture.
- Track and report on basic marketing metrics like leads and event participation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in sports, fitness, and brand marketing.
- Ability to engage with people comfortably.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Content creation experience is preferred.
- A self-motivated and reliable approach to your work.
