About the role#
As a Strength and Conditioning Coach Intern, you will lead group training sessions and provide individualized coaching for youth, adult, and team athletes. You will work in a performance-based training environment, helping members improve their strength, speed, and overall movement. This role focuses on building relationships with members and maintaining a high-energy environment throughout every session.
What you'll do#
- Lead group training sessions for a variety of age groups and skill levels.
- Teach proper form, technique, and movement mechanics to ensure athlete safety.
- Modify workouts to match the current ability level of each athlete.
- Provide personal training and individualized guidance as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with members to support their progress and retention.
- Start and finish all training sessions on time.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
- A strong understanding of exercise science, movement patterns, and injury prevention.
- A high-energy, positive approach to coaching and motivating others.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
