About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You will focus on patient care, safety, and operational efficiency while gaining professional experience in a clinical setting. This is a part-time role that requires regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and model company values.
- Manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Ensure a safe, effective work environment by following regulatory and quality assurance standards.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team to foster a culture of enthusiasm and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Complete all required training within the specified state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain upright, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Immunization eligibility.
