About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you play a critical role in delivering care and modeling company values. You will work under the supervision of a preceptor to gain professional experience while supporting the pharmacy team. This position focuses on providing an excellent experience for patients and contributing to the overall success of the pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process.
- Provide patient counseling and assist customers with questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
- Manage inventory and maintain pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Ensure patient safety and follow all regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of employment.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Carlsbad, California.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- The role is paid, with a typical hourly pay range of $16.00 to $23.10 depending on factors such as year in school and geography.
