About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe retail pharmacy environment. You will help manage patient care programs, support pharmacy operations, and assist customers with their health needs. This role is part-time and offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in a pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Deliver quality patient care and customer service.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow processes.
- Support the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Display empathy and compassion toward patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Facilitate a culture of caring and enthusiasm within the pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain mobile, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Physical dexterity for scanning, typing, and reaching.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
