About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing workflows, and supporting the pharmacy team. This position is part-time and offers the opportunity to gain professional experience while contributing to patient health outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and manage patient care programs.
- Perform tasks related to patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and inventory management.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with others to improve health outcomes and support the pharmacy purpose.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright and mobile for extended periods, including reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Location: Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
