About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. This position allows you to gain professional experience while supporting pharmacy operations and patient health.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with pharmacy professional practice.
- Manage inventory, workflow, and quality assurance tasks.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to support customer health.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture centered on caring and enthusiasm.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, and bag items.
- Completion of all training required by state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
