About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Support patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflows, excluding final prescription verification.
- Assist with the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture centered on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver positive health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and close visual acuity.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
