About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will gain professional experience while helping patients manage chronic conditions and access quality care.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with managing patient care programs.
- Model empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve outcomes and support company goals.
- Facilitate a positive team culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Handle pharmacy tasks including inventory management, workflow management, and quality assurance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular, predictable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
