About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe, effective environment while delivering care to patients. This role is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team to improve pharmacy operations.
- Facilitate a positive team culture focused on caring and enthusiasm.
- Align your daily work with company goals and the needs of the pharmacy team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
