About the role#
CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. is hiring an HR Intern for our Summer 2027 program. This full-time, on-site role provides hands-on experience in areas such as recruiting, training, payroll, and HR operations. You will work directly with our team to support organizational goals while developing your professional skills through project work and mentorship. At the end of the summer, you will present your project and experience to our senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily HR activities, including documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Support employee programs, engagement initiatives, and communication efforts.
- Help with recruiting, onboarding, and internship program tasks.
- Participate in projects focused on compliance, compensation, training, and organizational development.
- Collect, organize, and maintain HR records and information.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Identify ways to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
- Collaborate with HR team members and business partners.
- Participate in mentorship activities and business meetings to build your industry knowledge.
- Learn new systems and HR disciplines while supporting assigned work.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in human resources, business, psychology, communications, organizational leadership, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to learn new systems and business concepts quickly.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Academic, internship, volunteer, or extracurricular experience supporting team initiatives.
- Participation in student organizations, athletics, or leadership activities.
- Experience working with people in service, support, or collaborative environments.

- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate courses for the fall semester following the summer internship. Successful completion of the program may lead to consideration for full-time positions upon graduation.
