About the role#
This summer internship offers practical experience within the Dedicated Solutions division of CRST. You will gain exposure to transportation management practices and work alongside various departments to support business goals. This program is designed to help you build professional skills for a future career in business or management. At the end of the summer, you will present your projects and experiences to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply transportation management practices to support daily business functions.
- Assist in improving the efficiency of company assets and equipment.
- Collaborate with different departments including driver management, customer experience, and process engineering.
- Handle multiple tasks and solve problems as they arise.
- Develop effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or junior standing in a 4-year bachelor degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Enrollment in undergraduate courses for the fall semester following the internship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to take initiative.
- Prior coursework or work experience is preferred but not required.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- The program takes place during the summer of 2027.
