About the role#
CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. is hiring an Operations Intern for our Capacity Solutions brokerage division. This summer internship is part of our Early Talent Program. You will gain hands-on experience with our daily operations, learn transportation management practices, and work to improve the efficiency of our equipment and assets. You will have the opportunity to work across various departments, including Commercial Development, Account Management, and Carrier Sales. At the end of the summer, you will present your projects and experiences to our senior leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply basic transportation management practices.
- Assist in improving the efficiency of company assets.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to build communication skills.
- Handle multiple tasks and solve problems as they arise.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to team success.
- Learn from senior leaders throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a 4-year bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- Sophomore or junior standing with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work as a self-starter.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Prior coursework or work experience is preferred.
- Must be enrolled in undergraduate courses for the fall semester following the summer internship.
