About the role#
As a Municipal Advisory Intern, you will join our consulting practice to support government clients with debt issuance and financial strategy. You will work directly with engagement teams to analyze data and develop solutions that address client needs. This role requires travel to local client meetings in Indiana.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a municipal advisor to government clients for the issuance of short and long-term debt.
- Develop detailed financial models, reports, and amortization schedules.
- Conduct analyses of revenue and expenditure streams.
- Prepare deliverables including offering documents, rate studies, and presentations.
- Attend client and public meetings.
- Work with and support the engagement team on municipal and financial matters.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Relevant work experience, such as internships or previous summer positions.
- Ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional fashion.
- Working toward Series 50 License; CPA preferred.
- Strong academic credentials and the ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
