Audit Intern Winter 2027

About the role#

The Audit Intern position is a full-time, paid opportunity during the Winter 2027 term (January through March). This role provides in-depth exposure to the auditing profession, allowing you to work closely with experienced professionals on diverse client engagements. You will contribute to a collaborative team environment while gaining hands-on experience with issues currently shaping the industry.

What you'll do#

• Analyze client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Use advanced analytics, data visualization tools, and process flow automation to evaluate client data.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals to deliver exceptional service.
• Work independently and as part of a team on engagements across various industries, including manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, and financial institutions.
• Participate in benefit plan audits, such as 401(k) or pension plans.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• Must meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during business hours, with the potential for evening or weekend work as needed.
