About the role#
This Winter 2027 internship provides in-depth exposure to the auditing profession. You will work closely with experienced audit professionals to gain insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor and the issues currently shaping the industry. This is a full-time, paid position requiring a 40-hour work week from January through March.
What you'll do#
- Analyze client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Use advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation tools to evaluate client data.
- Collaborate with a diverse team on engagements across various industries, including manufacturing, not-for-profit, healthcare, government, and financial services.
- Participate in benefit plan audits for pension, 401(k), or employee stock ownership plans.
- Work both independently and in team environments to deliver high-quality audit services.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
- Must meet the educational requirements necessary to obtain a CPA license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
- Availability to travel and work evenings or weekends if the engagement requires.
