About the role#
As an Audit Intern for the Winter 2028 term, you will gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession. You will work closely with experienced audit professionals to learn the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor while receiving guidance on issues affecting the industry. This is a full-time, paid internship requiring a 40-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Use audit tools and technologies to analyze client data, including data visualizations and process flow automation.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to deliver exceptional service to clients across various sectors such as manufacturing, not-for-profit, healthcare, and financial institutions.
- Contribute to benefit plan audits, including 401(k) and pension plans.
- Work independently and as part of a team on multiple client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
- Must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Availability to work or travel during evenings or weekends if required.
