About the role#
Seidel Schroeder is hiring for a Spring 2028 Tax Internship based in Katy, Texas. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work alongside associates, managers, and partners to gain hands-on experience in tax planning and preparation services.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns from start to finish for Individual, Corporate, and Partnership entities.
- Review data, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations.
- Adjust client-prepared books to ensure the accuracy of tax returns.
- Research tax issues and communicate findings to the team.
- Learn to use various tax programs and software.
- Complete additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of Intermediates I and II courses prior to the internship.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, with a minimum 3.0 GPA in accounting classes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
