About the role#
This paid internship offers students hands-on experience in the wholesale building materials industry. You will work on-site at construction sites, quarries, mines, and production facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role for Summer 2027 based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will gain exposure to engineering, project management, safety, and accounting while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Gain on-site experience at various production and construction facilities.
- Analyze data and develop strategies for capital projects.
- Take ownership of tasks that deliver tangible business impact.
- Collaborate with teams to meet shared goals.
- Develop skills in scheduling, project profitability, accounts receivable, and billing.
- Learn regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Create and present a capstone project to executive leadership.
- Support a strong safety culture in all daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited trade school, college, or university with good academic standing.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle physical activity.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy approach to managing multiple assignments.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to high standards.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Commitment to following all safety protocols.
