About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the construction industry during the summer season. You will support field and operational teams by assisting Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents. The role requires being visible and active in operations alongside fellow employees. You may be required to perform general laboring duties and travel throughout Massachusetts depending on project locations.
What you'll do#
- Support company safety goals, processes, and compliance with MSHA and OSHA regulations.
- Learn material testing procedures and specification requirements for aggregates and asphalt.
- Gain insight into the bidding and execution of construction, including project estimating, scheduling, and subcontractor compliance.
- Spend time in field operations for heavy construction, reclaim, fine grade, and paving.
- Understand how crew efficiency and long-term planning contribute to project goals.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and learn to resolve equipment, personnel, and safety problems.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in construction.
- A highly motivated and safety-minded approach to work.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and reinforced-toed shoes.

- Locations: Lunenburg, MA and Acushnet, MA.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time and paid position.
