About the role#
CORRE, INC. is seeking a civil engineering or civil technician student for a full-time internship during the Summer of 2027. This is a paid, on-site position based in Appleton, Wisconsin. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided, and we do not offer sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for active construction projects.
- Assist with engineering calculations and project documentation.
- Create designs and plan sheets using computer-aided drafting software.
- Support engineers with daily tasks across multiple disciplines.
- Help with survey duties on construction sites and other project locations.
- Work in various environments including construction sites, field offices, and the corporate office.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of general survey practices and equipment.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs, and work on uneven terrain in all-season weather conditions.
