About the role#
CORRE, INC. is hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid position based in Appleton, Wisconsin. You will work on-site and support our construction department on various projects. Please note that we do not provide housing or relocation assistance, and we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for construction projects.
- Assist with engineering calculations and project documentation.
- Create designs and plan sheets using computer aided drafting software.
- Help with survey duties on construction or other project sites.
- Provide daily support to engineers on multiple projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of general survey equipment.
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
- Physical capacity to work in all-season weather conditions, stand for long periods, walk on uneven terrain, and climb as needed.
- Ability to perform tasks like pushing, pulling, and lifting materials or equipment.
