About the role#
CORRE, INC. is hiring a Civil Engineering intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Schofield, Wisconsin. You will work within the construction department to support ongoing projects. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for construction projects.
- Complete engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.
- Prepare designs and plan sheets using computer aided drafting software.
- Support engineers with daily tasks across multiple disciplines.
- Assist with survey duties on construction and other projects.
- Work in various settings, including construction sites, field offices, and the corporate office.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related civil technician program.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
- Comfort working outdoors on construction sites in various weather conditions, including standing or walking on uneven terrain for long periods.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
