About the role#
CORRE, INC. is seeking a civil engineering or civil technician co-op for a Summer 2027 internship. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The role involves supporting engineers on multiple disciplined projects and may include overtime hours.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for construction projects.
- Complete engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.
- Use computer aided drafting to prepare designs and plan sheets.
- Support engineers with daily tasks.
- Assist with survey duties on construction or other projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Understanding of survey practices and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs, perform excessive standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain, and work in all-season weather conditions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
